Rhian's Farewell Thing at the Airport

Rhian's Parting Gift

HELLO PEOPLE!

Okay, now that the class outing is over, the next thing up would be Mr Leow's wedding and Rhian-sending at the airport. One happy, one sad, but both in December. Ah well, just make lemonade of of the lemons life gives you...

Rhian hasn't given us the exact timings of his flight, so someone call him and post it on the blog! The plan is that we will send him off at the airport (if his flight is not at unearthly hours) and we will give him a present!

The present would be the Castles Can Fly photograph that Mrs Marienne(Is it spelt like that?) Tan took for us at East Coast (Fond memories flood back...) with our wonderful Singapore Flyer Hotel, comeplete with our signatures and well-wishes on it. If you want, you can give your own personal presents too! I'm not sure how are we going to get everyone to sign, but Janice said that we will just let those people who go to the airport on that day to sign as there is no other way. The picture is with Janice and is a country away, so we cannot sign now or whatsoever. But she'll be back this Thursday for some reasons.

So that about it. THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!

Class outing

Hey peeps...

Ms Kavi will not be able to come too, due to some meetings and such, so we will have to do it all by ourselves. Lets just stick to BBQ ok? If theres not enough food, we can consider ordering food from outside.( the best options already)

So, for buying the food, we no nid to buy it now. On that day itself, those who can make it early enough, try to meet at rhian's house before noon(lunch time, then we can go to the nearby supermarket to buy all the food. After buying, we can settle somewhere nearby to have our lunch. After that we can go back to rhian's house to store the food inside the fridge, prepare the spices and gravy for it, because u have to season the food first so that it will be nicer :) any questions, post on tag board k? if u r ok wif this post it too :)

CLASS OUTING

Hey 106!

You all have voted for the class outing to be on 19 November, which is THIS THURSDAY. So we need to hurry up and settle down for something, before it is too late for our last full 06 class outing. So here are the different alteratives we have:

1) East Coast (again): It may be a bit boring for some as we have already gone there for our last class outing. But we had fun there, didn't we? So yeah, it is one of the choices.

2) West Coast (not much difference from East Coast): It is almost the same as East Coast, but smaller and has many fun playgrounds. Sumi says there is an age limit of 12, so most of us cannot go and play, even though it is really really fun! (:

3) Rhian's house (we want to make the class outing as memorable for him): Rhian doesn't mind us going there, but according to him, there's nothing much to do there, only a swimming pool and tennis courts. But a class outing is all about the people, not the amount of fun generated alone or in cliques. We need to put a deposit upon booking the function room and barbeque pit. Deposit for function room is $100, while for the barbeque pit, it would be $50. Deposit is where you put your money there to make sure you really use the facilities, and then after that you get back your money. So how about that?

So, you have three choices, East Coast Park, West Coast Park, and Rhian's house. Please post your votes on the tagboard, or if you have big ideas, post a new post. EVERYONE HAS TO VOTE. I hope that everyone can come, it's ok if you are late because of some prize-giving day thing at your primary school due to your excellent PSLE result, I think I'll be late too. (:

Hey guys! today is Elections Day right? actually we were supposed to stay back for some extra lessons. but less than half the class turned up so in the end Mr Leow decided to cancel the lesson.

So a few other classmates like, Hedyla , Sheryl, Sumithri, Felicia, Vanessa and me stayed back for CCA as well as to clean up the classroom.

Let's clap for these people:

~Felicia rewrote the "Maths Grade: B" thingy on the board. And she has decided to buy a special duster for the class whiteboard because our current duster is friggin' dirty.
~Sheryl helped to clean the top of the whiteboard and the base of the whteboard. And wipe some tables.
~Vanessa helped to wipe a lot of tables and rewrote the "Announcements" on the whiteboard.
~Hedyla and me borrowed some brooms from JH103 and swept the floor.
~And Sumithri gave me some feedback on the planning of the Duty Roster.

Me drew up a duty roster and arranged and prepared your duties for this term. The New Duty Roster is on the Class Admin Board now. Please check it out and do your duties. Everyone should play a part in maintaining the class's cleaniness.
We already started and showed an example by cleaning the class first. This is our duty to do so.

If anyone strongly objects to, or disagrees with the duties they're assigned, please tell the Class Chairman or any reps in the Class Committee, which includes:

There is a book donation drive which you can form a group of 5 to collect books. you will be given about 30 CIP Hours at least( Wa Sei!) Of course it will not be easy. you will need to collect books from your neighbourhood (40-50). Of course, the more the merrier! Students must arrange their own tranportation of books to the school. The deadline for this is 9th March 2009(of course). PLs post on tag board if youre interested. Ty! :D
